V and I started working together in May 2018. We had 6 x hour-long sessions every other week. Hard work pays off and the changes that have happened have been amazing. Below V details their coaching journey.

As part of their Mental Health Month in May, they asked me to do some speed coaching with their people. Below Chris, Director of People, says a little bit more about what they wanted to achieve and the impact it has had:

Alex and I worked together over 3 months. We had 6 hour-long sessions every other week. This is her story of how she found coaching and the impact it has had on her.

When we build something up in our minds, psyche ourselves up for it then it doesn’t happen or doesn’t go the way we want, do we crumble like Miss Havisham, stuck in our own bitter world or do we pick ourselves back up and charge back into life?

Insecurities. They haunt us all.

The problem is, we don’t know each others and the reasons behind them. Your horrible manager may put you down because they are unhappy at home or feel that they don’t have the experience to be where they are.

We are surrounded by images, TV shows, social media, apps and magazines depicting relationships or relationship advice.

Has all of this warped what we see as a healthy, normal relationship? How does this affect our personal and professional lives?

When asked what confectionary I would currently describe myself as, I said a room temperature Cadbury Eclair. You know, those caramel goodnesses with a heart of chocolate. So yummy!

But why?

It’s ok to not be ok. It’s great to not be perfect because you know what?

100 years ago women got the vote. But how far have we actually come?
