I am committed to protecting your privacy and will ensure that the information I obtain from you and use will always be processed and transferred in compliance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
The information I collect
This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on this website. The types of personal information collected are:
1. Email Address
This is the email that you provide if you wish to receive the &hope newsletter.
This information is maintained by Mailchimp in a contacts list within their server – I access this list through the web based Mailchimp.com dashboard only. I do not process your email further, do not download it and do not share it with any third party (e.g. with brands).
I will use your email address to email you the &hope newsletter which may contain direct or indirect marketing material (for example, sponsored posts about interiors products, affiliate marketing and brand advertisements),
When you subscribe to receive my newsletter, you consent to receiving this marketing information which forms part of my blog. If you do not wish to receive such marketing information, you should not subscribe to the newsletter. You can continue to use my website freely, without subscribing to the newsletter.

2. Your name
This is only in relation to comments on posts; this could be just a first name only (not identifiable data), first and last name, alias (not identifiable data) or initials (not identifiable data) and/or your email address. I do not process this data further and do not store it on my computer. This data is stored within the comments app which is supplied by a third party through squarespace. &hope cannot retrieve individual comments left through this.
3. Technical Data
My website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, small text files placed on your computer, to collect standard internet log and visitor behaviour information in an anonymous form. Google Analytics does not identify personal information or individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
I use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage. &hope does not hold or process this data – enquiries about processing of technical data should be addressed to Google.
If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your individual browser options. More detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers’ respective websites. The web site www.allaboutcookies.org (run by the Interactive Marketing Bureau) contains step by step guidance on how cookies can be switched off by users.
Legal Basis for processing your information
Grillo Designs is a service website that provides information on coaching. You do not have to subscribe to my newsletter in order to access andhope.co.uk but have indicated (where you have subscribed) that you are interested in receiving regular updates from me. I therefore have your consent in supplying you these regular communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Access Rights
You have a right to access the personal data &hope holds about you. If you wish to obtain a copy of this information, please write to us at beth@andhope.co.uk.
